A better tomorrow for all

Sustainability is one of the global 'megatrends' that affects us all. At Algeco, we recognize that it is our responsibility to ensure that the needs of today are met without compromising the ability of future generations to meet the needs of tomorrow.

This means reducing our negative impact on the environment by all possible means. Our modular buildings generate about half the amount of waste compared to traditional construction. It is possible thanks to fewer processes and stricter design specifications, inventory and quality control. Algeco's buildings are equipped with energy-saving features, such as efficient lighting and heaters, taps with aeration to reduce water consumption and, for example, photovoltaic installations - these are just some of the many advantages of modular buildings.

Sustainability also means investing in our people. Algeco employees acquire the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career. All employees have access to training, development programs and support from the HR department. Our corporate policies ensure high standards and transparent procedures related to human resources management.

Developing our business model

Economically, Algeco is developing its business model to deliver financial growth, secure employment and reinvest in future operations. A big part of our business is renting accommodation solutions to clients, which are returned when they are no longer needed. This form of recycling means that a typical portable building can be rented around 20 times over its life cycle - a much more efficient and sustainable method than traditional accommodation solutions.
